The Joys Of Being Single In College
It's another year, and it's time to celebrate the beauty of being single on Valentine's Day. Last year I written a post about surviving being single on Valentine's Day in college, but this year I want to remind some of the singles how wonderful your life is. Here is my list of five greatest things about being single in college.

Let It Snow!
Something amazing happen over the past week, it was something unbelievable. It snowed! I know some of you, who are used to seeing the dreaded snow, are rolling your eyes, but when you live in the South a snow day doesn't happen often. I was so filled with excitement seeing the snow fall from my window because I haven't seen snow since junior high school.

To Choose Love or Money?
Every day in Speech class the professor takes the class attendance along with a question of the day. On the second day of class, the question of the day was to choose between finding love, but never to be rich, or to be rich and never fall in love. Every girl in the class chose love over money, except one older lady. When my name was called I chose money over love. The professor asked why, and I told her I'm used to being alone because I'm the only child. I also said that I can give back to others which would make me feel great.

I'm Back!
Hello everyone I'm finally back to blogging again. Its been a couple of months since I've written my last blog post, and a lot has happen since then. I want to tell you all that I'm now a junior in college, and I'm taking more journalism classes. I'm also interning for the University's radio station, which I'm very excited about. The purpose of the blog is to inform you about the daily life and struggles of my college life. I will keep updating weekly. Make sure you keep coming back to visit http://lovepinkandlaugther.blogspot.com/. I'm bringing the blog back to life because I love blogging, and I love telling my personal stories about college life. I know you're so exciting to see what I have in store for the upcoming weeks. After each posts, I will end it with a quote of the week because everyone needs a little inspiration.
Here's the quote:
"Thinking positively isn't about expecting the best to happen every time, but accepting that whatever happens is the best for this moment."

Cheers To The Losers In High School
Now that I'm in college, I sometimes think of the old me. The girl in high school, who was known by name, but not much else. Its been two years since I've graduated, and I sometimes wonder what people at high school thought of me.

Summer Reading: Pretty Little Liars "Twisted"
I'm a huge fan of Pretty Little Liars. I love the show and the books are amazing. I first started reading the books back in high school. I'm so glad I was able to read the ninth book that was released back in 2011. First, many fans were disappointed with the book release of Twisted because many thought that the eight book, Wanted, was a great way to end the "Pretty Little Liars" series. I couldn't agree with them anymore. I've read books 1-8 and thought the series ended good, but part of me wanted the story to continue. I was thrilled when Sara Shepard finally released the ninth book. After reading the book, it was everything I like about the "Pretty Little Liars" series and more. The story was defiantly twisted, as the title suggested. If you've never read a Pretty Little Liar book, you're in luck because this book will not be confusing for new readers. Sara explains events that happened in previous books to help refresh the memory of those who forgotten and those who never read a Pretty Little Liar book. The book starts off with the four girls in Jamaica on a spring break trip. This vacation was a great way for them to put the past behind them. However, the girls did something unforgettable in Jamaica. This trip eventually creates more secrets that will cause another A to haunt them one year later.

My School Year Recap

| Originally Seen On thesls.blogspot.com |
Finals are over, now it's time to recap some of the highlights of my second year in college. If I could describe my second year in one word, it would be effort. I must say that I have put an effort to try different tasks this year. Some of them did not go as plan, but it helped me to accept disappointment and face my fears. A while back I posted a few goals that I hoped to accomplish this year, and some I did attempt to try while other were just left behind.
