Valentine's day is all about couples falling in love and exchanging gifts, but what about the other ninety-nine percent of people who are left single on this special day. Some people may say that it is tough being single in college, especially when everyone around you are in a relationship. Do not fret, here are a few tips to help you survive feeling lonely on Valentines in college.

If you are around couples who are still in the "honeymoon phase" of their relationship, do not stress about wanting a similar relationship like them, instead be happy. It's called a "honeymoon phase" for a reason, it only last a couple of months and once it's over you may see constant fighting.

Enjoy The Beauty Of Being Single

Believe it or not there are somethings that are good about being single. If you're so busy focusing on other's relationships then you will never look at the wonderful relationship you have with being single. So what, if a girl's boyfriend proposes to her at the Eiffel Tower on Valentine's Day, that doesn't mean you want get proposed to one day.

Stop Listening To Adele:

When you are sad about being single one of the worst ways to cope with it is listening to sad depressing music. If you're constantly listening to uplifting positive songs then it will put you in a better mood.

Treat Yourself

One way of enjoying the single life is being selfish. What I mean by that is buying yourself a gift on Valentine's day, or eating your favorite food. Believe it or not it will make your day a whole lot better.
